An incomplete and corroded silver Roman denarius of unclear type, possibly Caracalla (AD 198-217) as caesar, dating to the period c.AD 198-199 (Reece period 10). Unclear reverse type, possibly MINER VICTRIX depicting Minerva standing left holding Victory and spear, a trophy behind? Probably mint of Rome. cf. RIC IV nos. 21, 25. Diameter 16.54mm, thickness 1.54mm, weight 1.23g.

Reverse description: Securitas seated left, holding sceptre and propping head with left hand. Reverse inscription: SECVRIT ORBIS. Diameter: 19.42mm. Thickness: 2.27mm. Die axis: 11.
