A Roman silver denarius of Hadrian (AD 117-138) dating AD 118. Reece period 6. P M TR P COS II reverse depicting a veiled Pietas, standing right with both hands raised. Minted in Rome. RIC Vol II, p. 345, no.47.
There are file marks along the edge of the coin. What is significant about this find is that there is graffito etched into the thickest edge of the coin (IIIV).

Measurements: 19.04mm in diameter, 2.41mm thick and 1.79g in weight.
