A silver Roman denarius of Hadrian (AD 117-138), dating to the period c.AD 125-128, (Reece Period 6). COS III reverse type depicting a star above and within a crescent (moon) with a globe in the exergue. Mint of Rome. Probably RIC II, page 362, number 201c. See also NCL-BFC508; HESH-C15A94. It is 17.8mm diameter, 2.4mm thick and 2.17g.
