Fragment of a silver denarius of Hadrian, dating 117-138AD. The remaining coin is a quarter of the full object, with damage also apparent along the edge of the coin. The obverse shows a bust right of Hadrian, including beard. The coin is badly damaged, however part of the legend is still visible. Legend: [HADRIAN]VS AVG [..]. The reverse shows the bottom part of a seated figure. Most of the legend missing due to damage, however some is still visible. Legend: [] III [].
