A worn and corroded (especially the edges) plated forgery of a silver Denarius of Septimius Severus. This coin is well executed but uses the obverse of a coin of Septimius Severus and the reverse - PRINC IVVENT - of his sons, Caracalla and Geta. It measures 16.8mm in diameter, 1.9mm thick and weighs 1.81g.
