An incomplete, copper alloy unidentified object, possibly Late Iron Age or Roman in date given the blue-green patination of the metal. The object comprises two linked pieces of flat wire, c.3mm wide and between 1.77 and 1.87mm thick, both of similar length (23.76 and 22.51mm, bent. Unbent, c.43mm and c.46mm). All the ends have been cut. Both pieces of wire have been twisted and pushed together, which prevents the two pieces from unlinking. The object weighs 3.77g.

A fragment of copper alloy openwork unidentified object, of uncertain date (but probably Roman to Post-Medieval, AD 43-1800). It is curving in profile and measures 28.41x14.25x5.44mm. It weighs 5.6g. One edge consists of a rib, D-shaped in section and being flat to the inside of the curve, to the side of which extends three cross-shaped extensions. One of these has broken and only a stub survives. At the centre of the other two is a lozenge. Breaks beyond these as well as breaks at either end of the D-sectioned rod, suggest this is only a small fragment of a larger object. However t…

An unidentified object, consisting of a broken spherical pebble of hard limestone, possbily on its way to becoming marble. It is white and sparkly on the inside and yellowy on the outside. A shaft (4x2mm) of corroded iron has either adhered to the outside through natural processes, or has been driven through the stone, though in the case of the latter the purpose is not obvious. It is far too light to be a weight, and the shaft too chunky to be a pendant. The diameter of the stone is c.20mm. Including the iron it stands 25.5mm in length. Weighs 11.89g. If a man-made object it is unli…
