Fragment of Romano British flue tile with one surface covered in diagonal grooves. A diagonal groove in the opposite decoration joins with the shortest of these grooves to create a V shape (any others are lost with the break). This surface also has a black coating which has been mostly lost. Measures 43.8x45.3x12.2mm and weighs 30.75g.

The base sherd is possibly part of a shallow bowl and the decoration consists of groups of parallel diagonal shallow grooves. The body sherds have horizontal lines, presumably decoration and not part of the manufacturing process. The largest sherd measures 32.2x19.9x4.8mm and the smallest 29.3x26.9x5.5mm. The sherds collectively weigh 13.77g.
