The circle itself is divided into three cells by a central sub-triangular shape with concave sides.

The spring is extant, although the left wing is incomplete. The pin is partial and has been bent at an angle of around 120 degrees towards the left wing.

Copper alloy headstud brooch with a hinge pin (still intact). There is a broken wire headloop above the crossbar; this has been pinched in by a heavy rectangular collar. The collar has the remains of possibly white enamel around three lozenge-shaped bosses. A longitudinal crest is located immediately below the collar and above the headstud which appears as a conical perforation in the bow. Lozenge-shaped blue enamel cells run down the front of the bow, below the headstud. The foot of the brooch is now broken, as is the catchplate.

Copper alloy headstud brooch, dating to the second century. The head of the brooch shows the attachment of a hinge pin, now missing. The crossbar has three sub-rectangular cells to either side of the bow, probably for taking enamel. The bow also has sub-rectangular cells for enamel; these become gradually smaller as they approach the foot of the brooch. The last cell, approximately 25mm above the foot, is in the shape of an inverted spear-head. The foot knob is undecorated. On the reverse of the object, the catchplate is present, but incomplete.

A copper alloy disc brooch with blue and red enamel/glass decoration. The face of the object has a raised outer rim encircling a sunken field of blue enamel or glass. In this field are circle-dot motifs comprised of raised metal rims around a band of red enamel and a central raised, metal boss. At the centre of the face of the brooch is a raised rim surrounding a sunken field of which the colour is now gone. The reverse of the object has two lugs providing the hinge-pivot, both corroded, and the remains of the catchplate, also corroded.

Cast copper alloy disc brooch from the Roman period. The disc is divided into six equal segments by lines extending from the centre. There are twelve peripheral knobs, one at the end of each of the dividing lines and one halfway between each of these.The knobs are worn, some almost entirely. Each segment is enamelled with a circular area left plain. Two opposing segments have been decorated with a pale yellow/white enamel, whilst the remaining four are a dark blue. On the reverse the spring is extant, along with part of the pin. The catchplate has broken, and only a stub remains.

Two incomplete copper alloy bracelets dating from the Roman period. The first bracelet is comprised of two copper wires entwined. These have been cut, forming two clean breaks, one at either end of the bracelet. This bracelet has an approximate (due to the bent condition of the object) diameter of 48.4mm The second bracelet is formed of a single wire; the closure is formed from the curved terminals of each end of the wire. This bracelet has an approximate (due to the bent condition of the object) of 50mm.

Cast copper alloy circular stud or mount, probably from furniture dating to the Roman period. It is domed in the centre surrounded by 2 raised concentric rings. On the back there was a shaft (rectangular in section) but this has broken off. The hole remains with some iron corrosion so it appears it was an iron shaft. The stud is mostly complete but it is slightly broken around some of the edges. Similar examples were found in excavations at Aldborough (Bishop; 1996; 64, nos. 401 and 406).

Cast copper alloy foot of a brooch with enamel decoration. This foot came from a fantail brooch. The triangular plate of the foot has a pelta-shaped decoration surmounted by a lozenge. These motifs are shown in copper alloy, forming cavities for taking orange enamel, most of which is still present. The reverse of the object shows the remains of a catchplate, this being a low ridge on the back that curves over slightly.

Incomplete cast copper alloy symmetrical plate brooch. The brooch comprises a lug for hiding a spring pin (now missing), an arched rectangular plate and a leg, broken just above the foot. The plate is decorated with an outer cirlcle with blue enamel and an inner circle of red enamel. There is a low ridge on the reverse of the leg that represents the upper part of the catchplate.

Cast copper alloy disc brooch with a hinge pin (intact). The face is decorated with raised concentric circles, the outermost one of which has pellets around the diameter. There are some traces of tinning or silver gilding on the rim. The pin survives on a lug at the top of the brooch; a second lug opposite the first shows the remains of a catchplate. The centre of the disc has been damaged to the extent that it is partly removed.

Two sherds are redware, from the side of vessels, of a sandy light-orange fabric with burnished orange/red surfaces with infrequent fine red-brown inclusions. Three copper alloy contemporary copies of Nummus. All have right facing laureate/diadem busts. One has barbarous figures on the reverse, the other two are illegible. 10mm to 11.8mm in diameter, 0.49g to 1.12g in weight.

Probably the head, and part of the shaft, of a Roman bronze/copper alloy pin. Both head and shaft are slightly oval in plan (the head is 8.5mm x 9.1mm, the shaft is 3.6mm x 4.1mm). There may be a trace of decoration, as there appears to be a line incised horizontally towards the top of the head.
