Roman copper alloy bow brooch, 45mm long, 16mm wide and 12mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 11.74grams. The brooch has solid plain circular sectioned wings and a sub circular tapering bow which is also plain except for a linear recess running its length.

Roman cast copper alloy plate brooch. It is lozenge shaped with two opposite corners extended into rectangular terminals. One terminal has slightly irregular edges and an almost straight, broken end. The other is slightly narrower with a rounded end. The round ended terminal may have zoomorphic decoration with a long triangular nose defined by incised grooves flanked by annulet eyes; however it is very corroded and this cannot be identified for certain.
