Roman glass vessel: Over 100 sherds of translucent blue-green glass. The exact type of vessel is unknown due to the fragmentary remains of the vessel. Most of the sherds only have a slight curvature and form the main body of the vessel. There are 10 fragments which have a more pronounced curvature, which are either from the base the vessel. Only two of these sherds with pronounced curve fit together to provide a curve from which the diameter can be extrapolated to be approximately 160mm. Thirteen fragments of organically tempered Severn Valley ware average length 33mm, width 28mm, thickness 8mm. Eleven body shards, and two rim fragments, one of the rims has a double linear grove running around the top external surface. Grey core with an orange exterior, small elongated voids in the fabric left by the organic material. These are dated to the mid 1st century to the 4th century.

Roman glass vessel: 44 sherds from a cylindrical bottle. Common in the last quarter of the first century and went out of use in the early second century, however were reused in creamtions - such as this example. Not enough of the vessel survives to estimate its height, vessels of the same form vary between a height of 150-400mm, with a body diameter of 80-250mm. This vessel is likely to be one of the shorter examples. The surviving sherds weigh approximately 287.32grams.
