A gold Iron Age stater of the North Thames region / Catuvellauni and Trinovantes, struck for Cunobelin, dating to the period c.AD 8-41, Cunobelinus Plastic type. Obverse: Corn ear without central stalk, CA to left, MV to right. Reverse: Horse right, pellet and branch above, pellets above head, CVNO below. Cf. ABC p. 136, no. 2786 but without pellet ring below horse; As BMC no. 1816.
