Obverse depicting crossed wreaths, one curved, and back-to-back crescents at centre with hidden faces in angles. Reverse depicting a horse facing right with a phallic bucranium and a pelletal sun above, AND below and a ring in front. As ABC no. 2715; BMC 2011-2014; VA 1860.

An Iron Age silver unit coin of Andoco c.20-21 BC of the Catuvellauni tribe in the North Thames region. This coin is ABC2721, an Andoco Pegasus type. Obverse shows a bearded head left, A behind, surrounded by an interlaced line border. Reverse shows Pegasus left wearing a neck torc, AND (with ND ligated) below Pegasus and OCO around (retrograde anti-clockwise legend) with the first O between the hind legs and tail. The C - O falling off of this flan. Die axis is 9 o'clock.

British Museum nos. 2011-2014 ('Northern gold of Andoco') are suggested as possible models for this coin. Measures 14.5mm in diameter, 1.8mm thick and weighs 1.5g.
