A complete silver denarius of Hadrian, from the Roman period, dated to 119 - 122 A.D.  Reece Period 6.  RIC II 95b. This coin is 18.6mm in diameter, 2.4mm thick and weighs 2.7g.  It has a small chip in the edge and radial crack at about 2 o'clock position on the obverse. Obverse: laureate draped bust right with drapery on left shoulder.  Legend: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANUS AVG. Reverse: Pax seated left holding branch and victory.  Legend: P M TR P /COS III
