Star in wreath Mintmark: TCON The weight of this coin (2.12g) informs us that it was probably struck in the period AD 355-60. The reverse type was reserved for use with the junior emperor, in this case Julian. There are two entries for Julian in RIC VIII (p. 223, nos. 255-6). The initial explanation was that …
