Star in wreath Mintmark: TCON The weight of this coin (2.12g) informs us that it was probably struck in the period AD 355-60. Copper alloy nummus of Constantius II (AD 337-61), dating to AD 353-5 (Reece Period 18), FEL TEMP REPARATIO, soldier spearing fallen horseman. Mint of Lyon. RIC VIII, p. 190, cf. no. 183. The mintmark appears to F•PLG as opposed to the published FPLG in RIC. The coin compares favourably with a specimen in the British Museum, but it is possible that the mintmark is blundered due to double-striking.
