Fragment of a late Medieval-early Post Medieval copper alloy purse bar, c.AD 1450-1550. This is one arm of a purse bar, rectangular in section with a narrowed, circular-sectioned projecting terminal. This terminal may have been capped with a small rounded boss or knop, as per other examples. This form is characteristic of Williams class A1. All surfaces are corroded and has a green patina. Length: 58 mm; Width: 15 mm; Thickness: 6 mm; Weight: 12.43 g.

A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy buckle, c.AD 1620-1680. This buckle is of a double loop, trapezoidal design, with pointed lobes at either end of the strap bar. The outer edges are pointed and the outside edge of the buckle is bevelled. The pin is intact. There is no evidence of decoration. The buckle is worn and has a dark brown patina. An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy buckle, c.AD 1250-1350. This buckle is incomplete as it is missing its pin. The buckle is of oval form, slightly asymmetrical, with an offset and narrowed pin bar that has mouldings at both ends. The frame is rounded externally on its upper surface and broadly flat on the lower with some rounding at the edges. The outer edge is slightly expanded both in width and thickness. The buckle has a light-green/brown patina. Similar example, see HAMP-06D456.

Incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch, probably a Continental plate brooch, c.AD 100-300. The brooch is a lozenge shaped plate with corroded rounded knops surviving at two of the four corners. One of these knops hides the catchplate, which is incomplete. The knop's obverse face is flat and is decorated with a raised edge, which may have contained enamel. The object is lozenge shaped with an integrally cast suspension loop emerging from its apex, set at ninety degrees to the face of the pendant. The lower part of the plate is folded back towards the reverse face, possibly due to plough damage. The loop has a circular perforation within its centre. The object is axehead-shaped; sub-triangular with the corners of the widest end (possibly the axe cutting edge) reduced to a curve, with the opposite end terminating in an old break. The form is reminiscent of a miniature early Bronze Age flat axe. The corrosion and patination with the dark green colour suggests an early date. The wing shape suggests a coil spring, although missing, and the bow seems to have a seperate plate, which is mostly corroded away. It is decorated with longnitudinal lines. An unusual cast copper alloy strap hook or hooked fitting of medieval date. The object has a subrectangular plate with slightly concave sides and a plano convex cross section. This has symmetrical decoration of scrolled forms running along the plate, rendered largely illegible by corrosion but probably intended to represent an elongated beast head. One end has a rounded attachment loop with five projections around the edge. The other end has an incomplete hook. C. later 11th-mid 12th century.

A possibly Post-Medieval or probably Modern, copper-alloy composite hook and eye decorated plate.  A slightly convex, sub-triangular plate with floral decoration and a blunt hook formed from a length of bent copper-alloy bar that has been soldered to the rear of the plate. The hook is decorated with oblique transverse lines. The circular eye attachment on the rear of the plate also appears soldered and protrudes at right angles to the plate.
