A cast copper alloy unidentifiable object, which is most probably late post-medieval in date or modern. The object has been formed from one solid pressed plate of copper alloy. The object is roughly rectangular in shape, but one terminal is larger and more rounded. There is a small square piece of copper alloy plate projecting from one of the longer edges of the object. There are two iron attachments on the reverse of the object. One at the narrow terminal and the other next to the rounded end. An incomplete cast copper-alloy rod with an oval shaped cross section, date and function unknown. Measuring 68mm in surviving length and 6mm in width and 5mm in thickness. One terminal is complete and tapers towards a rounded tip and the other is incomplete due to an old break now worn. Traces of a dark brown original patina can be seen on the rod but most of the surface is a greyish green colour.

There are eight ridges running down the outside of the weight, from the top of the dome to the base. The base has a number of holes stamped into it. The average diameter of the weight is 17.21mm while the diameter of the hole is 1.73mm. Its length is 16.42mm. The surface of this weight is uneven and coloured creamy white. Complete sub-oval lead ingot of unknown date. Length 49mm, width 31mm and 6mm thick. Weight 70.04g. This object, possibly an ingot, is sub-oval in plan and the edge of each face is crudely bevelled. The ingot is in fair condition and all surfaces have patchy lead oxide deposits. One face has a scuffed area that was created by the finder when removing the find from the soil.

Fragment of copper alloy pin. Very narrow circular-sectioned shaft with regularly-spaced transverse notches along the existing length of one face of the shaft. Mid grey with occasional patches of bright green corrosion. It is 38.52mm long, has a diameter of 1.05mm and weighs 0.21g. Slightly pitted surfaces, some bright green corrosion within some of the notched decorations. No parallel could be found for this pin with its very narrow shaft and unusual regular decoration along its length, in Cool’s typology (1990) or from the Colchester report (Crummy 1983).
