A lead alloy spindle whorl of uncertain date. It is 26.8mm in diameter and 7.3mm thick. It weighs 27.35gm. The whorl is very slightly plano convex, but almost discoidal and is undecorated. It is perhaps most similar to Coppergate Form B3, which would suggest an Early Medieval date (c. 6th century), but whorls are particularly difficult to date as few have been found in securely dated contexts. They were used from the Iron Age to c.1650 AD.

A lead steelyard weight. The weight is globular in shape and has a corroded iron shank passing through the centre, emerging at both ends. There also appears to be regularly spaced iron protrusions emerging from the side of the weight. The weight would probably have been used on a steelyard for measuring commodities. It may date from the Roman period or after and such artefacts can be difficult to date when found outside of a stratified archaeological deposit. Length 40 mm, thickness 23.7 mm, weight 73.1 grams.

Cast lead disc shaped weight with three raided parallel lines across one side and rounded edges. It is 28.4mm in diameter, 7.5mm thick and weighs 31.67 grams, 1.11ounces. The edges have corroded and there are various nicks and dents that suggest it was once slightly heavier. Simple cast least weights were made at home from the Roman period onwards for a wide variety of uses, they are therefore hard to date precisely; this example could also be a gaming counter.

Cast copper alloy unidentified object, probably Roman to Medieval in date. Formed of a curved bar with oval cross section, it splits into two incomplete projections (forked) at one terminal and there is a worn break at the opposing terminal. Perpendicular to the forked terminal at approximately half way along the length of the curved bar is a further damaged and complete cylindrical projection. It is 41.34mm long and weighs 17.55 grams. It is possibly part of a harness link or strap fitting.

Complete silver possible chape for which no exact parallel could be found. Formed from a hollow oval sectioned tapering piece of silver, which may have been cast as no join can now be seen, the tapering end curves one way and has a sharp pint. The open end is also unusual as it has small circular holes through it, through which there are a few surviving fragments of now brown thread. This object was therefore obviously attached to a larger object, possibly the rest of a knife scabbard via this thread. Two fragments of a ceramic crucible. The fabric is a white ware with no obvious inclusions and is highly fired, but is still able to be scratched. The exterior appears to have fine linear grooves which may be decoration or part of the manufacturing process. On the interior of each sherd there is traces of a copper alloy adhered to it. The copper alloy has traces of red copper corrosion and has a 'bubbled' surface. The two sherds together weigh 5.5g. The date of the sherds are uncertain, but probably date to the Medieval or Post Medieval period.

However while Roman or Late Iron Age dates are regularly proposed, the simple form of these beads makes them impossible to securely assign ot a date range.

A substantial copper-alloy bracelet of undetermined date. The bracelet is complex in design and construction. The bracelet has suffered a break in antiquity with the broken ends smoothed. The two breaks do not quite match and it appears there may be a section missing. The attachment ends are confusing, with the largest piece having a two prong ( one section is missing) arrangement creating a narrow sub-oval opening. The terminal end of the remaining prong has a knop which is drilled which suggests the use of a pin. The opposite terminal has a circular loop.
