A fragment of a copper alloy cooking vessel dating to the Medieval to Post-Medieval periods (c. AD 1200-1700). The fragment appears to be a rim sherd probably from an unknown vessel. The sherd has an incised line creating a border towards the edge of the rim. The sherd then curves outward to a concave profile.  The fragment is dark green in colour. It is heavily scratched and pitted, both on the interior and exterior surfaces, which are nevertheless fairly smooth.
