An incomplete Medieval to Post Medieval lead alloy biface token of Powell type 3 (segments) and a Powell type 2 (hatching).
The token would have been broadly circular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross section but has chips around its circumference. One surface has a worn, cast, raised design consisting of three raised lines radiating from the token's centre dividing the token into eight segements. The obverse depicts a quartered geometric design featuring an equal armeed cross with annulets in each quarter. Each quarter has a central raised pellet. Powell type 12. The reverse has multiple raised pellets. Powell type uncertain.
