Lead token or weight, c.AD 1100-1600.
This token is circular in plan and D-shape in cross section. The top surface is heavily worn, with a raised rim around the edge and a slight dimple in the centre. It is most likely to date to the Medieval or early Post Medieval period. These types of weight have not been catalogued into a typology and so a more precise date cannot be given.
