A worn and corroded late 16th-century lead-alloy post-medieval token depicting a double-headed eagle/crowned rose (North 2062; Mitchiner 4738ff.; Powell type 25). North (2006, 140) notes that such pieces were probably medalets rather than tokens as some appear to relate to Mary, Queen of Scots. These rare pieces are normally found in London, and were thought to be struck about 1574 (ibid., 140); Mitchiner (1988, 1653) has since revised the dates of the 'GOD SAVE' reverse to c. 1590 - c. 1603 AD. Further examples can be also found illustrated in Fletcher (2003, 49).

A complete lead alloy token or tally of post-medieval date. The token has a six petalled flower on one face and on the other side probably the letters I I X (or X I I, as many castings for lead tokens have the letters / numbers in retrograde), possibly part of a date or a value (8 or 12) in Roman numerals.
