A complete octagonal copper alloy half penny token of post medieval date, c. AD 1669. The front bears the legend, 'Lincolne Thy Halfe Penny Changd by the Maior 1669'. The reverse side is decorated with the Lincoln City coat of arms in a shield, with a simple cross and a fleur de lys in the centre. The object has a dark brown patina throughout.  Diameter 21.13 mm, thickness 1.25 mm and weight 2.59 g.

The obverse has a central circular pellet, with six radiating petals forming a flower. Between the petals are circular pellets.The reverse is flat with a rounded edge.
