A cast lead uniface token of Powell Type 1 (petalled flower), probably dating to the late Medieval to Post-Medieval period c.1400-1800. Sub-circular in plan with a flat flan. There are six deep relief moulded petals with pellets between on the outer edge of the flan. The reverse is plain and the surface displays a light buff colour. Diameter 19.7mm, thickness 4.4mm and weight 7.7g.

A probably Post-Medieval cast lead uniface token of Powell Type 7 (grids), probably dating to c.1500-1800. Sub-circular and flat, disc-like. The face has transverse relief moulded parallel lines at right angles to one another forming a square grid. There is a pellet in the centre and several others asymmetrically positioned. The reverse is plain and the surface displays a grey / buff colour. Diameter 20.9mm, thickness 4.5mm and weight 9.8g. Similar examples on this database at: PUBLIC-1928CC, SUSS-3DCA78 and BH-458589.

Obverse: initials triad D / R M in a field of pansies with an inscription of; R[O]BER[T]  DVTT[ON] 1667. Reverse: HIS / HALFE / PENNY in three lines and an inscription of; OF ERIT[H] IN KE[NT]. It is 18.12 mm in diameter, 1.74 mm thick and weighs 3.5 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely and this example could date from the Medieval or Post Medieval periods, c.1250-1800 AD.
