A complete Cast lead circular token. The obverse of the token has the letter C stamped into it, the reverse is blank. It is 10.84 mm in diameter, 0.85 mmthick and weighs 0.4 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval (1550-1800 AD) this token possibly comes from the later part of this date range.

A complete Cast unifaced circular lead alloy token. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initials in capitals TM with a possible date underneath. The reverse is blank. The token is 14.86 mm in diameter, 2.25 mm thick and weighs 2.3 grams. Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period; those with initials are generally thought to date to the post medieval period. (1550-1800 AD).

A complete probably Post Medieval uniface lead alloy token with a Powell type 30 (Unaccompanied simple designs) Description The token is uniface (a design on one side), broadly circular in plan and slightly dished in cross section being concave on its plain reverse. The upper surface has raised design of a series of irregularly raised pellets. There is a slight tabe on one edge, likely remains of casting sprue. A Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token. Powell Type 18. The token has a stylized raised design of a bird standing with a capital R above. The reverse is plain. The token measures 14.76 mm in diameter, 1.82 mm thick and weighs 1.9 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely, the lettering on this example is fairly well formed with simple serifs suggesting a 17th century date or later.
