A complete uniface token of Powell Type 3, dating to c.AD 1400-1800. Description: On the obverse, the token has five raised ribs radiating from the centre and in each of the ensuing segments is a pellet. The reverse is plain and undecorated. The token has a brown and grey patina. Measurements: Diameter: 23.6 mm; Thickness: 2.9 mm and Weight: 7.55 g. One face has the initial letters S H (or H S) in one line with horizontal lines above and below. The reverse depicts a tankard and a lozenge shaped flower to the right and possibly a sword above.
