The object is a fragment of a probably dress accessory, such as a brooch. It is made from cast copper alloy which appears to have been chip carved. All the edges of the object are broken edges, some of which are recent. The upper surface is decorated with a scroll/interweaved design, which may be Style I. This area has traces of gilding remaining. Bordering some of the chip carved decoration is a high-relief platform which has a matte smooth grey surface which is either silvering or tinning. Set of Victorian (?) nail cleaners, carved from bone or ivory. The two cleaners are attached to one another with a very small rivet; one spatula is pointed, the other one has a rounded terminal. The file (possibly metal) was attached separately, to one of the handles; however, it is missing now.

Copper-alloy skirt-lifter, shaped like miniature tongs. One of the two small padded-metal discs which were riveted to the jaws is still in place though damaged. It is decorated with a flower and a circle of punched dots. The locking catch is missing.
