Three fragments of late medieval - modern (c.1400-1900) bone button or bead making waste fragment. These are worked fragments from a long bone or rib, cut to form flat plates. The shorter fragment has one convex face, presumably from the outside surface of the bone. The largest fragment has a concave complete edge and is curving in shape.
The larger, curving fragment (55.2x12.7x5.3mm) has seven incomplete circular holes 6-7mm in diameter, four of which are in two pairs and placed diagonally next to each other. The remainder are in a straight line.
