A fragment of a copper alloy lock plate or keyhole escutcheon of Post Medieval date, AD 1700 - 1900. It is part of a circular object, with part of a rectangular hole in the centre, probably a keyhole. The front is decorated with a moulded convex border with a concave ring inside it. The reverse is concave. Measurements are; length 32.3mm, width 19.5mm, thickness 1.4mm and weight 3.12g.

An incomplete copper-alloy key plate or escutcheon plate for a furniture lock of post-medieval date (c.1600 - 1800). Description: The plate is roughly shield-shaped with ornamental edge. It has a circular hole perforated in each of the top two corners for attachment to an item of furniture. at the bottom it has a circular hole perforated on each side of the central vertical axis for attachment, one of these is broken. Towards the top at the mid-point is a vertical rectangular perforation; beneath this is the keyhole. A copper-alloy probable Roman lock pin dating from AD 43 - 410. The object has a circular loop at one end, mounted on a circular disc. The loop is not central. Extending from the other face of the disc is a long rectangular shaft which is positioned to one side of the disc. The shaft is flat and tapers a little in width towards the far end. There is a small circular perforation at the narrow end. The loop has an inner diameter of 5.93mm. The object is 37.1mm in length, 9.0mm in width, 9.2mm in thickness and it weighs 3.27g. A Roman cast copper alloy lock pin. The head has a  circular section and is conical, expanding to the end which 15.8mm in diameter and concave with a flat-topped sub conical projection at the centre which has a dimple at its apex and is surrounded by a narrow ridged border at the base. Below this the terminal is waisted and then expands into a 13.7mm diameter circular ridged collar. From the terminal projects an integrally cast rectangular-sectioned (6.7mm by 3.9mm) slightly tapering shank which ends in an old break.

A fragment of probable lock hasp, possibly from a small chest of cabinet. An incomplete plate with an integral pierced plate projecting at right angles at the centre of one end. A cast copper alloy Roman lock pin with a discoidal head, 25.1mm in diameter, which has a low conical boss surrounded by a wide recessed border. The reverse is slighlty convex with an integrally cast projecting shank, 7.5mm wide, flat in cross section and 4.2mm thick. This is incomplete, with an old rounded break at the end. The original surface has mostly been lost due to corrosion.

An incomplete, copper alloy barrel lock of Medieval date (c. AD 1100-1400). What has survived of the lock includes the cylindrical padlock case and the flat arm of a hasp that connects the case to the stump of the bar. The hasp has a roughly trapezoidal perforation (2.76mm long, 2.31mm wide). The case is slightly distorted, though generally still rounded. The remains of the keyhole are visible above the hasp. Tiny silver plate with key hole in centre. It is basically rectangular, 13.7mm wide and 14.3mm long, with the lower corners cut off to make short angled edges. It is decorated with an octagonal border consisting of a groove with counter-relief circles, each one of which has a tiny sunken crescent on top.
