A decorated fragment of cast iron, probably originating from a post-Medieval to modern fire back.
The upper surface of the irregular piece bears a band of moulded decoration in which a wavy foliate ridge weaves between two flower heads. Above and below the design is a beaded band. The fragment is not flat but has a slight curvature from top to bottom. It measures 94.5mm long, 72mm wide and 11.2mm thick. The weight is 206.02g.
