A Late Saxon silver penny of Edward the Martyr, 975-978 AD, minted at Canterbury by the moneyer Wine. [North 1980, no.763]. Dr Martin Allen notes that Wine has been recorded at Lympne in the reign of Edward the Martyr (BM and EMC 1986.01333)and that it was quite common for a moneyer to work in two mints in the same area.
