An incomplete Post-Medieval to Modern lead alloy decorative roundel, possibly a bridle fitting dating c. 1750-1880.
The object is circular in plan and umbonate with a raised central circular field decorated in cast relief with four equidistant round pellets each separated by two radiating parallel bars. The plate is pierced with a small sub-circular aperture set slightly off centre. An incomplete lead-alloy strap mounted bridle mount of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1750-1900. Maslin’s Composite Centre Type.
The artefact is circular and composed of a concentric circular decoration. The outer ring is a twisted ropework border surrounding an undecorated flat circular with a central eight-point flower on top. The reverse is undecorated with a line of four projecting lugs which would have enabled its affixion to a horse bridle.

The object is circular and umbonate with concentric ring decoration. The central element is formed of a raised circular boss set within a twisted ropework border. This in turn sits on a flat-topped dome with further a twisted ropework border to the edge of the boss.
The reverse of the boss is concave with a central scar showing where the central boss attaches.

An incomplete Post Medieval cast lead-alloy decorated mount, possibly a horse bridle boss, c. 1700-1850 AD. The object is discoidal in plan. It consists of three roundles surrounding a domed centre. The innermost roundel carries floral decoration. The middle roundel is finished with a white metal coating whilst the outer roundel contains longitudinal incised grooves running around the circumference. Cast one-piece T-shaped moulded fitting comprising a ring of three annular components with a longitudinal aperture of diameter 12.7mm, differentially heavily worn at one side of one end, and with an integrally cast lug of two bun-shaped parts of diminishing size set at right angles to the channel. Fresh corrosion at the flat end of the smaller bun may suggest another component or a decorative feature has been lost.
