Reverse: CIVI/TAS/DVBL/INIE, Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant. 1.3g weight, 18.5mm diameter, 0.7mm thickness.

Obverse: Front facing bust in pelleted triangle. Legend: '+EDW.R[...]NG[...]NSHyB'
Reverse: Long cross fourchée over pelleted circle with three pellets in each quadrant. Legend: CIVI TAS DUBL INIE.
There is some loss to the flan which affects the ability to read the legend. There is some light wear to the bust.

A complete, but slightly damaged, silver Irish penny of John of England (1199-1216AD) dating to the the period 1207-1211AD. Third (Rex) coinage. Minted in Dublin, by moneyer Wilelm P. (Spink 2002, 123 (No. 6228A).
Obverse has crowned bust facing with rosette to the right of the neck, holding a sceptre left. Legend reads IOhANNES REX.
Reverse has sun, moon and three starts in a triangle. The legend reads WILELM P ON DIVE.
