A medieval silver Irish groat of Edward IV (second reign) (1471-1483), light 'Cross and Pellets' coinage dating to c.AD 1473-1478. Mint: Cork. S 6351 (Spink 2002: 134).The coin is in two halves. A fragment of a Medieval silver groat of Edward IV (1461-1483), Heavy 'Cross and Pellets' coinage dating to c.1470-73?, mint: Cork (S 6316), initial mark unclear, large rosettes by neck. Ref: Spink 2003: 132 The coin is broken between 4 and 11 o'clock with the breaks irregular and uneven. Approximately 35% of the coin survives.  The coin is die-linked to one sold at Dix Noonan Webb, 13 May 2015, Catalogue 130, lot 1178.
