Part of one edge is preserved, with a flattened grinding surface and rounded exterior edge. It measures 83.41mm in width, 54.19mm in length, 16.79mm in thickness, and weighs 110.01g. This quern is possibly of Roman date given the associated finds from the site, although a later date cannot immediately be ruled out. Maximum 24mm thick. Grooved on both faces - intervals c. 8mm on one face, 12mm on the other. Unusually thin for a Roman quern so more likely medieval - but these not usually dressed on both faces.Daniel Pett8211SUFFOLK STUSTONSF755209931QUERNRestricted Accessfinds-2099326SF6253Fragment1066images/jplouviez/20013EA161250125232001-07-04T00:00:00ZProbablyx142212000-12-01T00:00:00ZMEDIEVALIgneous rock41425MD129MEDIEVALCertainCivil Parish2022-07-14T07:06:25.238Z
