A gold finger ring of uncertain date. It has a plain circular band that is sub-circular in section with a flat inner edge. The inner edge has several indentations and pock marks, presumably caused during production, but apparently no maker's marks or hallmarks. The ring measures 17.36mm in internal diameter, 22.84mm in external diameter, and weighs 8.58g. This plain gold ring is a beach find from close to a known Roman site. A thin gold ring shaped object, with ornate spiralled design and oval lilac stone setting. Dark areas indicate that this object could consist of gold leaf over another material. It is indicated that the item has been straightened and glued, making identification difficult. The object is not in its original state and so identification in the current condition could be misleading and therefore there is no evidence to date to pre 1711.

Unknown gold object, 17mm long, 8mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 6.65 grams. The object is sub-rectangular in form and section with tapering sides and has a flat sub-rectangular piece of gold plate soldered to it.

A gold, short length of octagonal-sectioned rod (Length 19mm; diameter 9mm; weight 17g.), broken at each end. While ornaments made from octagonal-sectioned rod are known in the Bronze Age, there is insufficient evidence to place this piece chronologically or culturally. This object was reported as possible Treasure under the Treasure Act 1996, and subsequently declared not to be treasure.

A fragment of a gold unidentified object of unknown date. It measures 14.70x9.73x4.27mm and weighs 5.54g. The fragment is broken at either short end, the thinner of which looks a little bent and is sharper, as though it has been cut. The wider end is smoother. In cross section these ends are rectangular with rounded edges and measure 9.43x4.27mm and 9.73x1.66m. The long edges are slightly chamfered on either face. In profile, the fragment is triangular in shape.

An undiagnostic gold ingot of Unknown date. The ingot is sub-oval in cross-section at one end and sub-rectangular in cross-section at the opposite end. At the sub-rectangular end it has two opposite facets making it 'V-shaped in side view. The surface is smooth in some areas and pitted in places. The ends are uneven and rough and appear to have been broken rather than 'chopped'. 26.8 x 6.9 x 5.9mm. Weight: 9.93g.
