Eastern British Iron Age coinage is found in the region north of the Thames and to the east, with some coin types issued in Kent. The Northern Thames area is traditionally associated with the Trinovantes and the Catuvellauni tribes, with distribution centering on Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and parts of surrounding counties.
