Description: The object is a thin gold band of uncertain function. The looped object has been squashed but otherwise shows little depositional damage. There is no hall or maker's mark visible. The object is a dull gold, suggesting a lower carat.

An incomplete Late Medieval to Early Post-Medieval copper alloy candle holder, c.AD 1450-1550.
The surviving part consists of one socket-like candle holder and part of the arm that it slotted into. The base, stem, spike or pricket, most of the candlestick's arm are missing. The socket has a waisted collar at the base. The socket is a cylinder with straight side, possibly decorated with stamped floral designs, although wear and corrosion make these difficult to discern. The candle holder has a light greenish-grey patina.
