A complete gold finger ring (Guirauid Type 9a/ Henig Type IX) of Roman date (c.200-410).
Description: The ring is polygonal, however now squashed almost flat, with eight inward curving facets creating pronounced ridges between each one. The ring expands from a relatively narrow band to create an implied bezel. Here, the facets have outward curving outer edges. The surface of the ring is undecorated but is pitted and nicked. It has a matte patina.

Description: The ring is D-shaped in cross-section, the curved exterior surface engraved with a simplistic forwards-facing skull with incised eyes and triangular-shaped nasal cavity. A near complete gold finger ring (mourning) of post-medieval date (c.1650-1720).
Description: The ring is circular in plan, although now slightly bent out of shape, and broadly D-shped in cross-section with a prominent central ridge across the circumference. The top and bottom edges of the band are also raised, creating grooves between these and the central ridge. These grooves have traces of or black enamel inlay. The interior surface is smooth.

Description: The ring is broken at the narrowest part of the hoop, opposite the bezel, and is misshapen. The hoop is pointed oval in cross section, thickening and widening gradually towards the shoulders which merge to create the bezel. The bezel has an oval recess for a now missing setting. The surface of the ring is textured by rippling in the gold as well as scuffing and scratching.

Description: A complete but broken medieval gold stirrup finger ring with blue gemstone setting dating to c. AD 1150-1450.
The hoop of the ring is circular, although the section opposite the bezel has been broken and bent into a straight strip. The hoop widens to form a triangular bezel which is trapezoidal in profile. The bezel is inset with a blue gemstone, possibly a sapphire. There is no additional decoration on the ring.
