Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative rearhook brooch dating to the period c. AD 43 - 65. The C-shaped wings exhibit moulded beading on the front. The interior exhibits traces of solder which retains an imprint of the missing spring; in the centre is an oval recess to allow the pin to swivel. The tip of each wing terminates in a worn break. Projecting from the top of the head is the stub of the rearhook. The bow is plain and tapers to an old break.

Medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to the period c. AD 1150 - 1400. It exhibits a narrowed, offset axis bar which retains the corroded remains of the iron pin looped around it. The oval frame has an expanded front edge with a wide groove forming the pin rest. See: Egan & Pritchard, 2002, p. 76 - 77, no. 316 which retains a sheet plate lacking on the current example.

Fragment of post medieval copper alloy furniture escutcheon dating to the period c. AD 1600 - 1750. It consists of a collared lis-shaped terminal which expandsinto an incomplete central plate, terminating in an old break. A single circular rivet hole sits at the junction between plate and terminal. An two engraved diagonal lines extend from the inner edge of the rivet hole to the break line, creating a border. Within are two parallel rows of punched annulets again, following the line of the plate. See: DOR-A2D44B, SWYOR-B7709B, NMS-CC3B63 & NMS-A8E461 which appear to be fragments …

Fragment of a medieval copper alloy composite strap end dating to the period c. AD 1200 - 1450. A single rectangular sheet metal strp, tapering into a narrowed collar and a tapering knop. It exhibits two rivet holes, one through the knop and one at the attachment end. The rivet hole through the terminal retains the corroded remains of an iron rivet. Medieval copper alloy two-piece strap end dating to the period c. AD 1200 - 1400. It comprises two symmetrical copper sheet copper alloy plates held together by a single copper alloy rivet at the terminal end. The front edge exhibits two notches, dividing it into three rounded knops. Both plates terminate in an old break at the split attachment end. Traces of white metal coating survive on the front plate. See: Egan & Pritchard, 2002, p. 132.

Silver gilt Medieval finger ring. The rectangular bezel is raised in a band across the full length to form an undecorated flat rectangular apex. This is flanked to either width by rising symmetrical, slightly concave decorated facets. To the sides of the bezel, just off the vertical, the shoulders of the ring stand just proud of the hoop on flat sub-oval decorated cartouches that narrow slightly towards the lower hoop. The remainder of the hoop is plain. The cartouche on one shoulder is bordered and within is engraved a crown surmounted by a heart. There are three dots within the heart…
