An incomplete cast copper-alloy pot leg from a tripod cooking vessel. The leg has a plano-convex almost triangular cross-section at the upper break, becoming more D-shaped at te base of the flared foot.The leg is waisted and flares out and forwards to create the tri-lobed foot.There are traces of sooting on the surface. A pot mend of uncertain Roman to Post-Medieval date c. AD 43-1900.  The mend is is now mostly a uneven domed shape including a concave base from it contracts and then slightly expands to a convex terminal. It has a typical off white/cream colour.

 Incomplete cast copper-alloy vessel leg, probably from a  cauldron, skillet or posnet  of Late Medeival to Post-Medieval date. (Butler, Green & Payne Type C) dating c. 1450-1700. The pot leg is broadly rectangular in plan and triangular in cross section with a moulded transverse collar close to the upper terminal. The upper edge is broken where it has been severed from the rest of the leg. Below the collar the foo is formed of three convex joined ribs that widens  out at the base to form a paw-like foot. The rear surface is flat.

An copper-alloy pot leg of post-Medieval date c. AD 1400-1700. The pot let is roughly D-shaped in cross section and has a transverse collar towards the base. It is wider at the base, narrowing slightly towards the middle before widening towards the top. The flat base of the pot leg features two crossed ridges. This foot would have likely been attached to a cauldron or skillet.  The overall dimensions are as follows: 20.22mm in length, 9.80mm in width (widest point), 7.23mm in width (narrowest point) and 9.14g in weight.

Broken base of Roman colour-coated New Forest Ware; indented necked beaker with a pedestal base from the 3rd-4th century AD. The fragment has a brownish grey surface with sections of light reddish brown. The fabric is fine and sandy with with no visible inclusions. The base is circular in plan and flares out from the body of the pot, which is v-shaped in profile and extends upwards at about a 45 degree angle. Single body sherd of Roman colour-coated New Forest Ware; indented beaker from the 3rd-4th century AD.  The sherd has a light grey surface with sections of light reddish brown, and is coated in a dark brown-grey slip. The fabric is fine and sandy with with no visible inclusions. The sherd has two parallel incised decorations, and has been pinched  to form indents. The fragment likely dates to the period AD 270-340. The sherd is worn and was found in ploughsoil.

A body sherd from a ceramic Early Bronze Age (c.2350-c.1500 BC) vessel, probably an urn. The fabric is oxidised reddish buff on the outside and dark grey on the interior. There are occasional gritty inclusions. The exterior has three parallel lines of corded decoration. The edges are unabraded suggesting a fairly recent breakage.

A Roman cast copper alloy mount in the form of a seated or swimming duck, 32.2mm in length. The duck is simply modelled and has a teardrop shaped body with a triangular cross section. The head has a slightly dished face with a beak tapering to a blunt point. There is no decoration or any defined features. The underside of the body is concave with an iron fixing stud. Such mounts are generally thought to be 1st century in date and used as rim decoration or lid handles for metal vessels such as strainers.
