A large flint scraper of later prehistoric / Bronze Age date struck from a secondary flake of mottled grey flint. The distal end is much thicker than the proximal and has short sub parallel and abrupt retouch around the edge with a band of cortex above. There is a large hinge fractured removal scar on the dorsal surface which pre-dates the working and suggests that this tool was created from a broken nodule fragment rather than an intentionally struck flake.
