An incomplete copper alloy crucifix of uncertain date, missing most its loop (which is in the same plane as the rest of the object). The break is old and worn. The object is in the form of a Latin cross, flat to the reverse while the opposite side (the front) depicts a standing figure facing, with arms outstretched, one along either arm of the cross. A medieval/ post-medieval copper alloy vessel leg, probably from a tripod ewer. It has an old break at the top, presumably the join with the vessel body. The leg is pentagonal in cross-section, with an additional flattening of apex/ front-most face. It measures 13.7x10.9mm at the break, narrowing to 8.7x10.0mm at the ankle which has a semi-circular rib horizontally placed to the front of the ankle only. An incomplete medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant with traces of gilding, dating to c.1100-1300. The edges of the pendant are bent and possibly damaged. It is probably of quatrefoil shape (cf. Clark, 1995; 66, no.62) with a fifth projection extending into the attachement loop (projecting 6.4mm), which is turned through 90 degrees. There is no visible decoration to the 'front' except for small patches of gilding. A central circular perforation may have had a separate attachment, perhaps a stud such as depicted in Clark, 1995; 64, no.59. Sections of the edges are bent backwards.…

A complete copper alloy medieval personal seal matrix dating to c.1250-1300. It is pointed oval in shape and measures 33.3m in length, 21.2mm in maximum width and weighs 9.98g. The seal bears the device of the 'pelican in its piety', depicting a mother bird perching on the edge of her nest and plucking at her chest so her three young chicks are able to feed on her blood. This is a popular religious motif that was a symbol of Christ's sacrifice to mankind and was a common depiction in use at this time (and can be found on many other examples of seal matrices). A rim fragment of a medieval/post-medieval (1200-1800) copper alloy cooking vessel. The fragment is triangular in shape with a rounded lip, slightly convex to the inside surface. The outside surface is rough to touch compared withthe smoother inside surface of the fragment. At maximum it measures 43.8mm x 26.3mm and weighs 12.24g. The fragment is thicker at the rim (3.2mm) and thins into the vessel wall (1.7mm). The section of the rim measures 41.1mm in length and sligthly curves outwards which can be seen in cross-section.
