An incomplete and worn post medieval silver groat or halfgroat of Mary I (1553-1558). C.f. North (1991) Vol II, p. 126, no. 1960-1961. Obverse is completely worn but possibly would have had a crowned bust left. Small annular mark visible on the obverse. Reverse is also completely worn, possibly had the legend VERITAS TEMPORIS FILIA and a long cross fourchée over a royal shield. Partial remains of a line of the cross visible and the 'T' in the legend.

Post-Medieval silver coin of Mary (1553-4). It is probably a groat or half-groat. The coin has been cut and is folded, and partially missing. The obverse is worn, of the inscription only MARIA is visible.
