Fragment of a Roman copper alloy armlet dating to the period c. AD 250- 409. Rectangular-sectioned with an old break at either end, the outer edge is crenellated with toothing between each crenellation. There are two teeth between each crenellation. See: Crummy,N, 1983, p. 41, no. 1659.

Medieval copper alloy buckle frame, thick chamfered outside edge with five filed grooves, slightly convex sides with vestigial transverse ridges at corners, narrowed rectangular-sectioned bar (length 16mm, width 16mm, 2.5mm thick). Incomplete rectangular sheet plate folded widthways, recessed for frame, with drilled hole for missing pin, broken before attachment end. Extant combined length 25.5mm. See Egan and Pritchard (1991), 96, fig.61, no.438. 14th century.

Distorted medieval double-looped buckle frame, both loops rectangular, and both outside edges with baluster mouldings are bent, narrow central bar, pin missing. Length 36-7mm. Width 38.5mm. 15th century. A comparable example from London was dated to the middle of the 13th century. (Fingerlin 1971, Abb. 44 Kat. Nr. 292), and another similar piece to c.1450 - c.1600 (Whitehead 2003 no. 477).
