A complete copper-alloy medieval French jetton dating to the period c.1400 - 1500. 'Shield of France' type. Triple stranded straight cross fleuretty in four arched tressure reverse. Probably mint of Paris.
Similar jettons are illustrated in Mitchiner (1988) p.224-229 which states that such jettons span the majority of th 15th century and bear designs which are 'fossilised permutations of of forms popular during this time (p.224).

An incomplete copper alloy sterling bust jetton of Edward I to the early reign of Edward III, c. AD 1280-1345. Mernick Series 2d.4 - Kings head obverse with coinage punches. The obverse shows a facing bust within border of strokes and rosettes. Reverse is a long cross patonce, in each angle a rosette within a crescent (Mernick Reverse 2d.18). A copper-alloy post-medieval Nuermberg jetton of Wolf Laufer (or Lauffer) II, created Master May 1612, and died in July 1651. The obverse depicts three fleur-de-lis, arranged centrifugally around a centra rose, with five petals and the legend reads NEYDT THVT IHM SELBST LEYDT ('envy does oneself harm'). The reverse depicts the Imperial orb within a tressure of three arches and the legend reads WOLF LAVFER RECH PFENG MACHER. The jetton is bent down the centre. It measures 24.8 mm in diameter, 1.13 mm thick and weighs 1.4 grams.

A Medieval copper alloy jetton, dating to circa AD 1340-1385.
The obverse depicts a crown with three rosettes on the body and a further rosette either side. The reverse depicts a Triple stranded cross fleuretty. The jetton is similar to Mitchiner (1988) No. 478 with three rosettes acros the crown and either side although the legend is slightly different ening in PLEI similar to No. 466.
Crown type jetton which were introduced by Philip VI in 1340 where the body of the crown was decorated with three rosettes. John the Good (1350-64) used the design as well as Charles VI up to 138…

A struck/hammered copper alloy jetton of Hanns Schultes III, struck in Nuremberg between 1608 and 1612.
The jetton consists of a Nuremberg jetton, of the 'rose / orb' type, consistent with dating to between 1608 and 1612.
