A copper alloy Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a Nummus of the House of Constantine (307-364 AD), FEL TEMP REPARATIO (soldier spearing horseman) type, struck (348-361 AD). Obverse: A bust facing right, no inscription is legible. Reverse: A soldier wearing a crested helmet and carrying a shield faces right, seemingly spearing a fallen horseman. [FEL]TEMP R[EPARATIO]. The coin is 12.9mm in diameter, 1.56mm thick and weighs 1.34gm. Copies of the FEL TEMP REPARATIO were exceedingly common.
