Copper alloy Coin. Nummus, possibly of House of Constantine (306-361), issue of 355-361; alternatively of Magnentius (350-353), issue of 350-351; Reece period 18. Obverse description: Bare headed bust right. Reverse description: Emperor standing left holding Victory and labarum. Reverse inscription: CR suggests [FELICITAS REI PV]BLIC[E]; the mintmark clearly begins with S so an alternative reading of [SPES REI PV[BLIC]E may be admissible. In exergue: S?MN?O Cliff Reeves kindly examined this coin. Diameter: 17.8mm, Weight: 1.87gms, die axis: 6.
