An incomplete nummus of Magnentius (AD 350-353), dating to AD 350-353 (Reece and James, 1994, p.38-39) (Reece period 18). The reverse shows a large Chi-Rho between alpha and omega, with alpha (A) remaining partially visible, and minute incise-ment showing the outline of omega (ω) remaining. Their is no inscription on the reverse, nor is their an obverse remaining, corrosion is extensive. Appears to have been clipped all round, with deposition wear.
