An incomplete nummus of Magnentius (AD 350-353), dating to AD 350-353 (Reece and James, 1994, p.38-39) (Reece period 18). The reverse shows a large Chi-Rho between alpha and omega, with alpha (A) remaining partially visible, and minute incise-ment showing the outline of omega (ω) remaining. Their is no inscription on the reverse, nor is their an obverse remaining, corrosion is extensive. Appears to have been clipped all round, with deposition wear. A copper alloy roman nummus, dating from the reign of Emperor Magnetius. Obverse: bareheaded, draped bust right of emperor. Inscription: illegible. Reverse: Two standing victories facing one another, holding round shield like wreath, inscribed in the centre: VOT/V/M[VL]T [X] with supporting column. Inscription: VIC[TORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAE]. Mint: TR[P] (Trier). The overall condition of the coin is fine, though the obverse side has significantly more corrosion than the reverse.

A Roman copper-alloy contemporary copy of a nummus of Constantine II, AD 354-361. On the obverse the bust facing right is a poor qaulity copy. Most of the inscription is missing or unclear. The reverse side has a soldier holding a fallen horseman, and only the inscription is mostly unreadable apart from ATIO, from the original inscription of FEL TEMP REPARATIO.
